About the Preserve:
- Wildlife sanctuary spans 110 acres

It was established in 1999, after the Town of Gilbert wanted to create a way to combine the water resource development and wildlife habitats.
It spans across a total 110 acres and and there are 7 basinsthat make up 70 of those acres. It is also known as part of the Water Ranch
Riparian describes a habitat formed where fresh water bodies create streams, lakes or rivers. Arizona is home to a wild variety of habitats
and many specias that can be found at the preserve.
